Amy Adams

Born in Rochester, New York, Amy started her singing and acting career in elementary school participating in choral groups, and musical theater. She also studied drums but her true talent as a singer performer quickly won out.


Most influenced and encouraged by her professional musician grandfather, Amy continued to build her voice, dancing, and acting resume performing in various choral ensembles, singing groups, and musical theater productions in high school then college.


Her personal singing style continues evolving and is influenced by several female artists including Carole King, Amy Winehouse, and Stevie Nicks. Amy is now adapting her versatile singing voice to the popular genres of classic and country rock.

 

As the new lead female vocalist in the classic and country rock show band, Mystic Circus, Amy is entertaining audiences with her high energy expression and powerhouse driving vocals.

Randal Simonetti

Born in Woodside, Queens and raised in Thornwood, New York, Randal had been a performing bassist since he was ten. He has performed in concert bands, marching bands,
symphonic orchestras, musical theatre, dance, jazz, and classic rock bands playing the sousaphone, string bass and bass guitar for the past five decades. He also has experience
as a studio musician.
 
Randal started his first band, The in Crowd, as a teenager and was invited to join local White Plains, NY recording stars, The Mystics. The Mystics performed throughout the
New York metro area while recording on Renvell Records.
 
When the Mystics broke up, he formed Circus and played with the group performing insuch noted venues as the Rainbow Room, Tower Suite, Windows on the World, and the
Bitter End nightclub for the next 25 years.
 
In 2024, Randal restructured Mystic Circus into one of the most exciting Classic Country Rock bands in Western New York. The Journey continues.

Charlie Avino

Veteran drummer, Charlie Avino, has been playing the drums since third grade, forming his first band in fifth grade, The Underdogs. Throughout his lengthy career, Charlie has
played and recorded with bands across the U.S. His inspiration came when he first saw Ringo Star of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show.


Locally, Charlie’s band, P.F. Flyers played all the major clubs in the Rochester area, recorded an album, and earned a cut on one of WCMF’s Homegrown albums. While in California, he played, toured, and recorded with several bands including The Crayons and Rick Gazley’s Blue Zoo Revue, both bands opening for dozens of national acts.


In Rochester, Charlie co-founded the seminal alt-country band, Whiskey Road, which became a regional act playing the major clubs in Western New York while making inroads in Nashville before changing  direction after playing over 250 dates in a two- and half-yearstretch.


He recently reunited with his old bandmates in Rock-it-Science playing a one-off burning set! Charlie is now the drummer of the classic rock, contemporary country and vintage
Motown group, Mystic Circus performing across Western New York.

Dan Dovideo

Born and raised in Fairport, New York, Dan started his musical career playing the piano at the age of ten. He later added a Hammond B3 to his repertoire and today plays electronic keyboards in addition to the acoustic piano.


Dan's first band in high school was called Liquid Lyte, and he expanded his experience by playing in college jazz ensembles, area dinner theaters and night clubs. Most recently, Dan performed with the jazz fusion band, Indigo Breeze leading up to his new role as the keyboardist and musical arranger for Mystic Circus.


Dan was encouraged to become a professional musician by several college professors who quickly recognized his unique talent and high energy approach to performing. Dan holds a master’s degree in
music theory and composition. He was most influenced by musical artists, Steely Dan, Bill Evans, Keith Emerson, and Chick Corea.

 

Dan’s true motivation is to perform with other like-minded musicians who together are making a difference by bringing enjoyment to audiences throughout the Upstate New York area.


He is also actively recording originals, covers and computer-based compositions. Dan has composed and continues composing in genres from classical to choral, rock and jazz. His latest album of original jazz, “Flights of Fancy” appears on all streaming platforms.

Steve Wheeler

Born in Syracuse, Steve now hails from Fairport, New York. Steve’s introduction to the joy of music came at the age of seven when he was immersed in the singing of Broadway Musicals by his mother. This led to an affinity for the guitar. He also tried his hand at Bass, drums and keyboard but he quickly identified the guitar as his favorite.


His guitar skills became more pronounced when he started his first band, “The Confederate Elicitation of Your Imagination.” He later played with Wolfe J. Flywheel, Hott Sand, Over Easy, Rock-it Science which played for 25 years and his most recent band, The Steve Wayne Band. Steve has performed all over the Northeastern United States and has opened for several national touring acts.


Steve’s drive to become a successful professional guitarist came from within and was influenced by several musical greats such as Santana, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Dickie Betts,
Al Dimeola, BB King and Steely Dan to name a few.


Today, Steve is an active singer, song writer, and recording engineer. He currently has two albums streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube. Many of the songs were written by Steve and he also did the recording, mixing, and mastering.
 

As a member of Mystic Circus, Steve provides unique guitar inflections, engaging lead vocals, and an array of complex harmonies to the group’s Classic Rock and Country repertoire.
